My name is Janice and I like to stash. Mainly in response to unmoderated retail therapy. Six months after I went back to work part time, I was frustrated by the mess I could never seem to conquer. Through the Minimalist Mom site, I found the 30 Day Clutter Bootcamp at the Minimalist Packrat blog, and decided to give it a try.

I used the word stash because I am also an avid knitter, sewer and quilter. Outside of clothing for the girls, my biggest  retail therapy crutch is fabric, yarn, sewing /knitting patterns and the notions to finish all of these new projects (that I often don’t start)!

In the short term, I’m hoping that following the Bootcamp format, and blogging about it, will keep me motivated and engaged with the project. Long term, my goal is not just to conquer our closets, cupboards, storage units and other enablers, but also to change my habits and confront my internet shopping demons.

Ultimately, only adding to our stash of stuff for good use or good reason.
