At the beginning of 30 day bootcamp, one of the promises I made to myself was that I would be able to ‘see the projects through the stash’ when I was done. Now that we have made a considerable dent in debt and clutter, I’m happy to note that I spent the better part of an evening planning how I’m going to use up my stash!
The projects I have planned are:
- finish up the two summer sundress and robe d’ete that I started for the girls in February
- finish the two mobile quilts I started for my cousin’s children (last spring)
- finish quilting and bind the fussy fairytale quilts for the girls
- finish the rollie pollie chairs for the girls
- drapes and roman shades for our master bedroom
- quilt for our master bedroom
- two tablecloth projects from the Kaffe Fassett striped fabrics I’ve been stashing for almost 10 years!
- wall quilt for our family room (can you tell I’m a Kate Conklin fan?)
- finish the silk summit shawl I started over a year ago
- finish the crocheted ponchos I started over 3 years ago (luckily you can just keep adding rows to make them bigger)
- maze quilts (see below) in Little Apples fabric for the girls for the family room.
It’s a long list, but one that I’m hoping I can complete by the end of the summer. The trick will be in only buying the minimum amount of materials needed to complete the projects. These are pics of the maze quilts I made last summer for a new baby boy and his big sister – I hope to write the patterns up as I go through the quilts for the girls.
